For Missourians, the August 4 primary election is just as critical to our state's future as any presidential race.

If we’ve learned anything, it's that simply casting a ballot isn't enough. Sustaining our democracy requires active engagement—and voter turnout on August 4 will completely determine the fate of Amendments 4 and 5.

📅 Key Voting Dates

• JUN 23: Excused Absentee Voting begins

• JUL 8: Last day to register to vote for the August 4 election

• JUL 21: No-Excuse Early Voting begins

• JUL 22: Request for MO Mail-in / Absentee Ballot deadline

• AUG 3: Early Voting Ends

• AUG 4: Election Day (Polls open 6 AM - 7 PM) — Remember, Election Day is the LAST day to vote!

🛑 "NO on Amendment 4" Campaigns

Amendment 4 would dismantle Missouri's century-old citizens initiative process. Instead of a simple statewide majority, it would require a majority in every single congressional district—letting a single district veto the will of the entire state. Politicians wrote it, and politicians exempted themselves from it.

📉 "NO on Amendment 5" Campaigns

Amendment 5 seeks to eliminate the state income tax, creating an immediate multi-billion dollar budget deficit. To cover it, politicians will be cleared to dramatically expand sales taxes onto everyday essentials like groceries, childcare, and medical bills.

The Missouri Budget Project warns that Amendment 5 will increase overall taxes for most working Missourians while devastating funding for public schools and infrastructure.

🗺️ Missouri Alert: Demand Fair Maps

Politicians passed a congressional map that slices up local communities. We must keep the pressure on Secretary of State Denny Hoskins to certify the 305,000+ signatures collected by the People Not Politicians campaign to put fair maps on the ballot.

👉 Action: Email Secretary Denny Hoskins and demand he stop slow-walking the signature verification and certify the citizen referendum for fair maps!
